What happens on the day
We pick you up from your hotel in Doha and drive to the desert. Then you go dune bashing in a 4x4, ride a camel and try sandboarding. The guide is with you for each part, so you only need to turn up.
Which safari to choose
Many first-time visitors take the sunset safari, or the evening safari for a BBQ dinner as well. If you have the morning free, take the morning safari. For more time, the full day safari lasts about 6 hours. If you want to sleep in the desert, choose the overnight safari.
How to get ready
Eat something light beforehand, since the 4x4 ride is bumpy. Wear closed shoes and light clothes, and check what to pack. If you get car sick, tell your driver and sit in the front.
What it costs
The morning and sunset safaris cost 900 QAR for 1 or 2 people, or 1,200 QAR for up to 6. That is the total for your booking. See all prices.
